Varenicline (trade name Chantix and Champix) is a prescription medication used to treat nicotine addiction. It both reduces craving for and decreases the pleasurable effects of cigarettes and other tobacco products.

Jim Edwards for CBS News mentioned reports of psychotic violence on anti-smoking drug Chantix, "Pfizer (PFE)'s anti-smoking drug Chantix (sold as Champix in some countries) is looking increasingly vulnerable to litigation or further limits to its marketing in light of a new study that looks at episodes of psychotic violence associated with the drug. Part of the problem is that in 2008, Pfizer chief medical officer Joseph Feczko said the company was continuing to study the drug. Two years later, studies and anecdotal evidence are continuing to turn up problems that go beyond suicidal thoughts generated in some patients. And yet researchers linked to Pfizer haven't published any significant psychological issues generated by the drug."

Tell the world why Chantix sucks!

Hardware Technician (Former Employee) says

"The started salary is low even for the area with no yearly pay increases. To be fair, there is flexibility in your work schedule. The management team and HR are virtually invisible. The expectation is to perform the job with little to no training and no goal setting. One would be hard pressed to find one employee with a good word to say about the company. Many are now spending time in search of another opportunities. I would only recommend this place if you are desperate for work with no where else to go.... Cons: Pay, leadership, moral"

It Tech Support Analyst (Former Employee) says

"Management is awful and expectations are exceedingly high. Forced overtime and if you decline, say goodbye. Was also forced to change my schedule and was told I have no choice. Cons: Micro management, harsh treatment"

Account Representative (Former Employee) says

"Disgusting racist management and no living wage. Policy’s constantly changed, clients never stay. Management says one thing and does another. Would never ever go back."

Account Representative II (Former Employee) says

"I only lasted months at this position, but I feel lucky to have gotten out in one piece because this is a job that will choke the life right out of you. Paradoxically, you are extremely micromanaged (as other reviews have mentioned, you do have to ask for permission to do anything), but there was also an air of apathy among leadership. Case in point - I regularly skipped breaks, and no one in management paid attention to it. I also had a multitude of health problems (some stemming from how stressed out I was working here), and again, I felt like not only did most people not care, but I felt like I attracted a lot of unwanted gossip because of them (another problem with this place). Ultimately, I just did not feel valued at all. Cons: Scheduling, gossip, workplace culture, few healthy vending choices, management, pay"

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) says

"Run as fast as you can the human resource dept cannot properly perform their dutiesbecause they do not have the equipment the people in India who owns the company do not care about there employees in order to get paid you have to call dept of labor most times because they cannot find your money THIS JOB SUCKS RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK"

Senior Team Member (Former Employee) says

"Horrible place to work managers were bullies and encouraged intimidation in the workplace. They only promoted white people or people who kissed up and were not qualified."

LPN (Former Employee) says

"The only thing good about this job is you can work remote. Everything else is a bunch of women being messy. Like high school, management is the mean girls and everyone else doesn’t matter. They act like they care but they don’t. They top leadership is racist. The pay sucks. They want you to do so much, but don’t give anything back."

Account rep III (Former Employee) says

"No pay, no benefits, no advancement, no job security, no morals, no leadership, no maturity, no class, no right to be in the customer service field. Whether you're a client or employee, run!!"

Security Guard (Former Employee) says

"Sucks because they fire people when they want they don't give you a warning and they target you 100% would never recommend working there they take a advantage of you they treat you like a number not like a human being"

Account Representative (Former Employee) says

"The Scotts program is probably the WORST program you could work for. The management is a joke and treat you like dirt. You have to ask permission to go to lunch and to use the restroom like we are children in school. They basically set you up for failure. We were suppose to be “nesting” our first week on the call floor and let me tell you we did nothing of the sort. They basically threw us on the call floor and acted annoyed when we asked for help. Then wanted to write us up for mistakes we made which never would have happened if we could have had some guidance Cons: Only get one day off, schedules rotate so it’s not a set schedule, you have to ask permission to go on break and to use the restroom like a child"

"I have never been more disappointed in a company. you aren't supposed to be dismissed from a company based on your Christian beliefs.... In order to do this, they disguised it as violation of policy to better serve the community of those currently there. You see, I didn't fit in with the majority, i was the out cast."

Licensed Healthcare Communicator (Former Employee) says

"Not worth the time invested to learn the job. The pay is not worth the actual duties. Management expectations are unrealistic. Especially when all "leadership" is not even on the same page. LPNs are hired for certain programs but are most definitely not valued what so ever."

Analyst (Former Employee) says

"Worst company to work for. They lie throughout the interview process to get you in the door and nothing is followed. Very poor communication. Management is never there."

LPN, Agent (Current Employee) says

"Don't waist you time with their Lies and hopes and dreams. They are nice like they pretend to be, they are very snake like and they only look out for friends that they party and eat out with. Cons: They won't let you work from home if you are not in the crew, like high school"

PRP (Current Employee) says

"If you are looking for a temporary job to just get by, this is perfect. However if you are looking for a career and advancement in this company, DO NOT APPLY. The management is by FAR the laziest, most unprofessional managers/supervisors i have ever worked with. They do NOTHING mostly all day and just talk all day with their heavy favoritism only promoting people they get along with very well/they have known. It DOES NOT MATTER how hard you work here at All, to get promoted here you must be best friends with management at all times to ensure a future with the company. Management here does not display any form of hard work ethic, and sets the worst example for the call floor every day. Just laughing in their office while the call floor is dropping calls day in and day out. If you value yourself and your HARD work, do NOT apply here. Cons: Management, favoritism"

Customer Care (Former Employee) says

"Awful place to work. Awful place to work Awful place to work. Management to odd and disrespectful. Under payed and over worked. No benefits. Nothing positive about this company. Cons: The company itself"

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) says

"If you are looking for a quick and easy paycheck in between jobs, this will suit you. Cons: Insultingly low pay, poor management, no communication, favoritism, disgusting bathrooms, very little opportunity for advancement, very few rewards"

Contact Center Operations Manager (Current Employee) says

"They pay employees very little. Recruiting can only get you associates from KFC or Walmart. It's a call center. Turnover is 78% annually. You can't retain good quality people and keep them. Cons: Everything"

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) says

"It was unorganized and unprofessional. I worked there for 8 months and was let go for my background check that never changed during my employment with the company. They expect a high volume of calls and little to no mistakes. They change trainings on you and they don’t provide a clean work environment. There is not anyone nice in HR. They were rude and mean. I do not recommend this workplace environment for anyone."

Data Entry Clerk (Former Employee) says

"It was a terrible place to work. The management did not care about their employees. It was you scratch my back I will scratch your back. The pay was horrible."
